My name is Chris Schaller. Me and my wife (Molly) got ducks a couple of years ago for their eggs and to help with slugs in the garden. After some issues with raccoons attacking ducks in the middle of the day, we looked into options and came across LGDs. After moving out a little further from town and getting more space (0.2 to 2 acres). We ended up settling on a couple of pups from Kim over at Prancing Pony Farms. There is talk about getting either goats or alpacas next year. Until then the dogs have their ducks and the neighbor's cows to hang out with. The local raccoons, skunks, coyotes, random loose dogs, and bobcats are keeping them busy . This is our first time with LGDs and so far we have been very impressed with their abilities.
